Language and communication skills encompass a range of abilities related to effectively conveying and understanding information, ideas, and emotions through verbal and non-verbal communication. These skills are essential for interpersonal interactions, professional success, and personal development. The Language and Communication skills can lead to improved relationships, increased opportunities, and enhanced overall effectiveness in communication. In our institution Training and Placement cell has taken huge initiative for the students to enhance their communication skill.

The Departments of Science and Humanities and Master of Business Administration of Info Institute of Engineering organized an Induction Programme for first-year students in the seminar hall for six days from 13/09/2023 to 20/09/2023. The inaugural function was a resounding success, marking a promising beginning for the first-year students at Info Institute of Engineering. The induction programme concluded on a high note, leaving the first-year students motivated and better prepared for their academic journey ahead.

The Training and Placement Cell organized a Verbal Training Program for I year BE / B Tech students for three days from 12.10.2023 to 14.10.2023. The program was conducted in the Seminar Hall, Info Institute of Engineering, Coimbatore. The session was taken by the Resource Person Mrs R. Jeeja, Assistant Professor, Department of English, KG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. She trained the students to participate in interactive sessions focusing on confidence-building, public speaking, active listening, and articulation. The program successfully helped the students to improve their verbal communication abilities.

The Training and Placement Cell organized English Language Lab Training Program for I year BE / B Tech students for three days from 16.10.2023 to 18.10.2023. The program was conducted in the English Communication Lab, Info Institute of Engineering, Coimbatore. The students were trained by the Resource Person Miss. N. Tharani, Assistant Professor, Info Institute of Engineering. The resource person taught the students verbal communication skills and grammatical structures. The program successfully helped students improve their English communication skills and Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills.
