Value Added Courses

The Value Added Course facilitates the students to keep in pace with the latest technologies pertaining to the field of Information Technology. The Value Added Courses aims to improve the employability skills of the students. During the Course more than 50% of the time is spent on practical training and problem solving, to provide the requisite understanding towards application of academic concepts. The courses which are offered at free of cost are selected by students according to their preference.

The following industry oriented value added courses with hands-on training were conducted for the benefit of students.

YearCourse NameDescription
II Year C&C++
  • Everything from microcontrollers to operating systems is written using programming language since it’s very flexible and versatile, allowing maximum control with minimal commands.
  • Students  are interested in a career in computer programming, it would be wise to start by learning the C programming language advancing to C++,Java and Advance java.
  • There are numerous benefits from learning programming language. However, the most important benefit is that the programming language is recognized worldwide and used in a multitude of applications, including advanced scientific systems and operating systems.
Java and Advance Java
III Year CCNA
  • The CCNA certification has been devised by CISCO and stands for Cisco Certified Network Associate.
  • The certificate validates a professional’s ability to understand, configure, operate,  and troubleshoot medium-level switched and routed networks and also includes the verification and implementation of connections via remote sites using WAN.
  •  The CCNA will provide you with the foundations you need to pursue almost any certification with Cisco and will also give you enough knowledge to work in the field of Networks
ASP.Net and VB.Net
  • .NET is a programming framework created by Microsoft that developers can use to create applications more easily. In a perfect world, you wouldn't need .NET Framework.
  • The makers of all your crucial applications would have the time and resources to fully patch together their applications into self-contained packages, because developing for Windows would be an intuitive, mostly high-level process that independent developers could nail down in fairly quick order.
  • So nobody besides developers would need a package like .NET, which provides applications with an orderly way to access databases, web services, and other communication tools.
PHP
  • PHP is probably the most popular scripting language on the web. It is used to enhance web pages.
  • PHP is so popular that if we're looking for a career in the web design/web scripting industry then we have to learn it.
IV Year Software Testing
  • Testing is necessary in order to provide the facilities to the customers like the delivery of high quality product or software application which requires lower maintenance cost and hence results into more accurate, consistent and reliable results.. “Why’d you need a software tester as a dedicated resource?”
  • The more early a defect is found the less costly it is to fix.
Android Development
  • The conventional wisdom in the industry is that to be successful with mobile apps, developers should always develop for iOS first and treat Android as a secondary or tertiary goal.
  • The odds are now changing. Android can provide developers with the perfect testing ground to hone and refine their apps.
Campus Recruitment Training
  • Campus recruitment Training is all about helping students clear the multiple stages of recruitment and ultimately land the job.
  • To this end, training typically comprises one or all of the following elements – Aptitude, Language, Technical and Soft Skills, depending on the priorities and duration available on hand.
