The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organizes National Conferences every year to showcase the latest trends in Research and Development of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Participants from various colleges Nation –wide participate in the conference.

The Department of MBA conducts a National level conference every year to highlight the dynamic changes and new innovations in the field of management. A number of papers from management experts, students etc., are presented during the conference.

The International Technical Meet INFOREA is conducted every year for students of both colleges and schools in order to create a revolution in the field of Engineering. Info being a visionary college, is driven by the ultimate force of moulding the future generations in all aspects. A number of events are conducted by all the departments concentrating in their major and core fields.

“Successful people are not go – getters but go-givers; let’s add our best to our city” is the motto of Kovai Vizha conducted at Info Institute of Engineering. Coimbatore has become the prototype of steady development for the other cities to learn from. The campus of Info Institute of Engineering bustles with activities and competition during Kovai Vizha. Students from various colleges take part in the competitions conducted by the college.

Kovai Vizha 2014 - It was a day thrummed with life and vigor. The fourth year celebrations of Kovai Vizha started on 30/01/14. The walls of the college rooms were adorned with “Posters, pencil sketch, and photographs” on COIMBATORE OLD & NEW. On the last day of the celebrations, 07/02/14, the students proved their hands in the edible treat, the Cookery Show. The heady aroma of the delicacies made out of the traditional rice varieties like “saamai & Kudirai vaali” proved tantalizing.

The Industry Interface Schedule III for the Students of Info Institute of Engineering was organized on 04.03.15. Industry Experts from various corporates were present to share their expertise with our students. The resource person Mr.Charles Godwin, Strategic HR – Business Partner & Public Speaker, addressed the students and shared his personal experiences on his success from quite a number of failures. He spoke on various prospects and his motivating speech triggered the students to post industry related queries, which he clarified earnestly. Mr.Bharath Mohan, Assistant Manager – HR at Polaris Financial Technology Ltd, spoke on how to grab opportunities, overcome competencies and utilize resources and further clarified doubts and answered queries. Ms. Usha Narayanan, Centre Head, KGISL, IMS Department, gave insights on essential interview skills. The experts addressed various batch of students throughout the day. The program was a grand success as the students were enlightened on how to get equipped to fit industry needs.

The employment in India is really growing in the phase of Entrepreneurship. As a part of it Info Institute of Engineering joining hands with ICTACT, Tamilnadu conducted an Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign on 19th Feb, 2015. The resource person was Ms.Mano Kumar,Trainer,Freelancer services. She spoke about the various career paths available to the students once they completed their graduation. She stated different planning strategies for the running of a business and listed out the skills needed to become a successful entrepreneur. She also quoted a lot of real time examples and made the session an interactive one. The students found the session very useful and interesting. Dr.Chitra Manohar, Secretary, Dr.S.Kirubakaran, Associate Professor/CSE and Mr.Maruthi Sankar, Assistant Professor/ECE also addressed the students during the programme.
